As a Head of Design at Danish Power Limited, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the design and development of our power and distribution transformer product lines. We are seeking an experienced individual with deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong background in transformer design standards, simulations, and production support. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the complete transformer design process, providing technical leadership to a team of design engineers, ensuring compliance with international standards, and driving continuous improvement and innovation in transformer design. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the complete transformer design process from concept to final engineering release. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of design engineers. - Ensure designs meet performance, safety, reliability, and cost targets in accordance with national and international standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and customer requirements. - Drive continuous improvement and innovation in transformer design, materials selection, and processes. - Stay updated with new technologies, materials, and trends in the power sector and implement best practices. - Manage design budgets, timelines, and resource planning. Required Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in designing power and distribution transformers. - Proficiency in design software and in-depth understanding of international transformer standards. - Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers. - Proven track record of handling customer-specific and turnkey projects.
