As the Brand & Content Head at The Hosteller, India's leading D2C backpacker hostel brand based in Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's narrative and creative direction. With over 8 years of experience in content strategy, brand storytelling, or creative direction, preferably in D2C, travel, media, or lifestyle sectors, you will lead a multidisciplinary content team focused on delivering bold, experiential content that resonates with the essence of youth travel and community living. Your key responsibilities will include understanding the hospitality, travel & tourism, food & beverage service sectors, developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand goals, overseeing video, graphics, and editorial/content writing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling, defining and upholding brand voice and aesthetics, driving ideation for marketing campaigns and social content, collaborating with cross-functional teams, setting quality benchmarks and workflows, mentoring and managing a team of senior creatives, monitoring content performance, and staying updated with global trends in travel and content marketing. To excel in this role, you must have strong storytelling instincts, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of social and digital media platforms. Your proficiency in content planning tools, editorial workflows, and collaboration platforms will be essential in ensuring the success of content production systems. Additionally, your leadership, project management, and communication skills will play a crucial role in balancing strategic oversight with creative hands-on involvement.
