Job Description

As the Head of Marketing at Avantor, your role is critical in leading and directing the marketing function to drive strategic initiatives and maintain a high-performance culture within the team. You will primarily focus on the India market while also supporting the Middle East & Africa markets. Reporting to the Managing Director, India, you will play a key role in aligning important regional strategic marketing initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Avantor's business goals. - Lead the creation and implementation of innovative marketing plans to enhance brand awareness and drive customer acquisition. - Collaborate with senior leadership to define marketing priorities in line with the company's overall strategy. - Supervise and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and support for professional development. - Oversee all field marketing activities, including sales support, training, pricing, digital marketing, and content creation. - Analyze market trends and customer insights to develop effective marketing strategies. - Manage the marketing budget and establish metrics to measure campaign effectiveness. - Maintain and enhance Avantor's brand identity across all channels. - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies. - Represent Avantor at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as per company direction. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Science, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. - Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a functional leadership role in marketing. - Experience in Life Science, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or related industry. - Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to lead and manage diverse teams. - Expertise in traditional and digital marketing practices. - Excellent communication, presentation skills, and ability to influence others. - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.,
