Job Description

Responsible for the overall management and operations of
Public Libraries
across India.
Strong leadership, general management and administrative skills in Library management.
Experience of setting up new libraries as per the playbook. Fine tune the Playbook with new learnings.
Team Management - Hire and train staff for libraries including librarians, security staff, housekeeping Book staff. Conduct regular performance management exercise.
Oversee the selection, organization, management and maintenance of books. A process of updating the library book collection as per the latest best-seller lists as well as visitor feedback and requests.
Experience in cataloguing and classification of books.
Manage the librarys budget and prepare annual reports on library activities & usage statistics
Maintain relationships with local citizen bodies, municipal and other civic authorities to ensure visibility and smooth functioning of the library
Represent the library in public forums, and community events, to promote its services.
Engage with CSR Head, CEO and other leaders to apprise them of the Library Operations.
