The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome students, parents, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel or department. Manage the school's main email account, responding to inquiries or forwarding them as necessary. Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. Maintain and update student and staff records in the school’s database. Assist in the preparation and distribution of school communications, including newsletters, notices, and bulletins. Visitor Management: Ensure all visitors sign in and out, issuing visitor badges as required. Monitor and control access to the school building, ensuring the safety and security of students and staff. Student Support: Assist students with inquiries and provide support as needed. Coordinate with teachers and staff to manage student attendance and tardiness records. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences. Manage bookings and schedules for school facilities and resources. Communication: Serve as a liaison between parents, students, and school staff, ensuring effective communication. Relay important messages and information to the appropriate parties promptly.
