The Legal Counsel will oversee and manage labour-related litigation at the Labour Court, handling all aspects of case preparation, documentation, and coordination with external counsels to protect the organization's interests. You will provide legal advice to HR and business teams on employment matters and ensure compliance with labour laws. Your responsibilities include managing case progress, responding to legal notices, and ensuring timely filings and proper record-keeping. You will oversee and manage labour litigation cases, including pleadings, documentation, evidence, and coordination with external lawyers. Additionally, you will provide legal advice on employment issues, ensure timely filing of pleadings, coordinate with lawyers for effective presentation of evidence, and maintain accurate records of case progress. Responding promptly to legal notices, maintaining correspondence with unions, and supporting HR with legal matters are also part of your duties. You are expected to stay updated on labour law regulations and key court rulings to share insights with HR and other stakeholders. Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of labour laws, including Industrial Disputes Act, PF, ESI, Termination Laws, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages Act, POSH, etc. - Proven experience in labour law litigation, including handling cases before labour courts and tribunals. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interpret laws and provide practical legal advice. Skills Required: - Sound judgment and problem-solving in labour law matters. - Ability to multitask and manage pressure while maintaining attention to detail. - Knowledge of case management, MIS updates, and timely lawyer bill processing.,
