Role Purpose:

Chief Audit Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the internal audit function and manage a team of professionals.
Develop and implement the
Annual Audit Plan
aligned with organizational goals.
Identify and assess risk areas, ensuring appropriate audit coverage.
Conduct audits to evaluate controls, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Review and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
Coordinate with statutory and external auditors for audit planning and execution.
Prepare and manage the internal audit budget and ensure cost control.
Recommend process improvements, risk mitigation, and cost-saving initiatives.
Guide and develop the audit team through coaching and training.
Ensure adherence to company policies, internal control frameworks, and statutory compliance.

Key Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
internal controls, governance, and risk frameworks
.
Hands-on experience with
ERP systems, preferably SAP (mandatory)
.
Proficiency in
data analytics
and exception reporting.
Excellent
communication, presentation, and report writing
skills.
Exposure to
manufacturing audits
and
international audit operations
preferred.
Certifications such as
CIA
or
CISA
are desirable.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
.
18–25 years
of experience in internal audit, risk management, and compliance.
Manufacturing industry
experience preferred.
Proficiency in Tamil
is mandatory.
