Role Overview: As the Hive Lead for Customer Solutions at Standard Chartered, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the platform vision across multiple applications and squads. Your main responsibility is to drive leadership over the team that strategizes and executes digital products related to customer communications, document generation, and customer solutions. Your goal is to ensure that the platform acts as an accelerator for diverse product teams, balancing technical excellence with business outcomes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to guide a culture of agility, empowerment, and continuous innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Shape and communicate the platform vision by establishing a multi-year strategic roadmap that aligns with market insights, business needs, and technical innovation. - Align platform initiatives with major Wealth and Retail Banking outcomes and OKRs, incorporating measurable metrics for success. - Drive adoption of DevOps practices for fast, reliable releases and maintain regulatory and security integration throughout the development process. - Lead and participate in quarterly planning sessions, encouraging open dialogue, autonomy, and continuous improvement. - Nurture a psychologically safe environment for squads to self-organize, innovate, and collaborate effectively. - Continuously incorporate operational, security, and regulatory risk items into the backlog and prioritize technical debt reduction and legacy transformation. - Keep the platform fully audit-ready by collaborating with risk/compliance officers and staying abreast of evolving regulations.
