We have been mandated by a large conglomerate into iron and steel for the below mentioned role.

Position Name: Head - Ferro Alloys

Location: Boisar

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Ferro Alloys Division in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
• Establish short-term and long-term goals, and regularly monitor progress towards achieving them.

Operational Management:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of department heads and operational staff to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Monitor production schedules, quality control, and overall plant performance.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance:

• Ensure that all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
• Identify and address any quality issues in a timely manner.

Cost Management:

• Develop and manage the plant budget, including production costs, maintenance expenses, and other operational expenditures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures.

Inventory Management:

• Supervise inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.

Maintenance and Engineering:

• Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment and machinery are in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance.
