We are seeking an experienced EHS Department Head to lead our Environment, Health, and Safety team in a chemical manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
1. Develop and implement EHS strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Lead and manage a team of EHS professionals to achieve departmental goals.
3. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
4. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including MEE, ETP, and RO systems.
5. Develop and implement training programs for employees on EHS procedures.
6. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into operations.
- 15-20 years of experience in chemical manufacturing industries with a focus on EHS.
- Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with MEE, ETP, and RO systems.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Diploma/ BE Environment, B.sc/ M.sc Chemistry with PDIS/ ADIS
