Job Description

Head of Digital Marketing

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and lead

    a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive lead generation, student enrolment, and brand growth
  • Plan and execute

    multi-channel digital campaigns

    (SEO, SEM, display, social media, email, influencer marketing, and content marketing)
  • Build effective

    funnel digital marketing strategies

    to convert prospects into students for various programs or courses
  • Partner with admissions, academic, and product teams to create relevant, targeted campaigns
  • Manage and optimize

    performance marketing

    across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube with a focus on ROI, CPL, and CAC
  • Drive organic growth via

    SEO

    , high-quality content (blogs, videos, student stories), and web experience optimization
  • Lead the development of

    personalized email campaigns

    using automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Leverage analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Hotjar, Mixpanel) to measure campaign effectiveness, user journeys, and continuously improve performance
  • Supervise a team of digital marketers, content creators, and agency partners
  • Stay abreast of digital trends and

    education sector innovations

    to keep strategies cutting-edge and student-centric

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 1215 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in

    education marketing, EdTech, online learning platforms, or universities

  • Expertise in

    lead generation, funnel optimization, paid media

    , and

    student recruitment

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Creative mind-set with a keen understanding of learner behaviour and digital touchpoints
