Head Copper Rods Production

• To lead and oversee the end-to-end production of copper rods, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, cost control, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Responsible for achieving production targets, improving process performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations Management

• Plan, manage, and monitor the entire copper rod production process (casting, rolling, drawing, annealing, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and achieve monthly and annual output targets.
• Monitor key process parameters to ensure consistent product quality as per IS/IEC/ASTM standards.
• Optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.

Process Improvement & Technology

• Implement process optimization techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) to improve yield and reduce wastage.
• Identify bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions for productivity improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D/Engineering for technology upgrades and product innovation.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to ISO, BIS, and other quality management systems.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for quality deviations and customer complaints.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

People & Resource Management

• Lead, train, and develop production team members across shifts.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams for seamless operations.
• Ensure adherence to manpower planning and performance management.

Cost & Efficiency

• Manage production cost budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Control raw material and energy consumption.
• Support procurement in evaluating and maintaining raw material quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E./ B.Tech in Metallurgy / Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering.
