Role Overview: You will be joining Vedanta Aluminium as the Head Civil Infrastructure Maintenance & Civil Capex Projects. Vedanta Aluminium is India's largest producer of aluminium and value-added aluminium products, contributing significantly to nation building and fostering self-reliance. As part of this role, you will be responsible for budgeting, planning, and implementing plant infrastructure requirements with a focus on cost, time, quality, and safety. You will lead a team of engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of projects while complying with HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Budgeting, planning, and implementing plant infrastructure requirements with a focus on cost, time, quality, and safety - Handling projects related to sustaining capital expenditure across the unit - Engaging with SBUs to consolidate, plan, and implement infrastructure needs timely - Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements during site execution and implementing initiatives regularly - Leading and mentoring a team to ensure they have the necessary resources and support for project delivery - Ensuring Summer & Monsoon readiness for plant & infrastructure including building roofs, roads, drains, and horticulture aspects - Monitoring and controlling project budgets and schedules, providing regular progress reports to senior management Qualification Required: - BE/BTech (Civil) with 10 - 15 years of experience - Understanding of technical/engineering requirements for infrastructure, debottlenecking, and productivity improvement - Efficient in procurement process, planning, site execution, and stakeholders management - Experience in start to end project management, resource allocation, and optimization What we offer: - Outstanding remuneration and best-in-class rewards - Globally benchmarked people-policies with best-in-class facilities - A work environment shaped by Vedanta Values of Trust, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Excellence, Integrity, Care, and Respect - Equal opportunity employer valuing diversity at the company Note: Female professionals are encouraged to apply for this exciting growth opportunity.
