Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Cashier at Reliance Trends located in Meerut. The Head Cashier will oversee all cash handling and payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. Responsibilities include managing cash registers, training and supervising cashier staff, resolving customer queries and complaints, handling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. The Head Cashier will also work closely with other store departments to facilitate smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience with cash handling, financial transactions, and payment processing
Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and train cashier staff
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle queries and complaints effectively
Attention to detail for handling discrepancies and ensuring accuracy in transactions
Solid understanding of financial policies and procedures
Proven ability to work collaboratively with other departments within the store
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in retail management or finance is a plus
Proficiency in using POS systems and related software
