Job Overview

The Head of Branding & Marketing at Cheran Group Of Companies will lead and strategize comprehensive branding and marketing initiatives to enhance the institution's value proposition. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Chennai, focusing on driving institutional growth and visibility through innovative marketing strategies.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Extensive experience in formulating and executing brand strategy to elevate institutional reputation and market share (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing, leveraging online platforms for brand amplification and student engagement (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong background in growth marketing, developing targeted campaigns to drive enrollment and institutional reach (Mandatory skill).
  • Advanced ability to manage and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent, high-impact messaging.
  • Demonstrated skill in social media management, driving audience engagement and brand awareness through curated content.
  • Proficiency in lead generation strategies tailored for educational institutions, converting prospective inquiries into enrollments.
  • Excellent analytical skills to monitor campaign performance and suggest actionable improvements for marketing effectiveness.
  • Educational background in marketing, communications, or related fields, with a passion for innovative educational methodologies.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive branding strategies that reflect the institutions mission, vision, and values.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website development, SEO, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Oversee growth marketing campaigns to drive student enrollments and increase the institutions market presence.
  • Develop and manage multi-platform marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
  • Supervise social media engagement across educational platforms, ensuring active and meaningful community interaction.
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance metrics to stakeholders, with recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure brand messaging consistency across all communication channels.
  • Identify new opportunities for brand partnerships, public relations, and community outreach to bolster institutional growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Candidates should possess MBA in Marketing (Regular streams).
  • A minimum 10 years of experience in a Branding & Marketing and at least 5 years as lead the marketing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing: social media marketing, video marketing, content marketing, SEO, online advertising, and mobile marketing.
