Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and own the overall brand architecture and individual brand positioning.
  • Craft differentiated brand narratives that align with the companys purpose and consumer expectations.
  • Manage portfolio strategy (mainstream vs premium, category expansion, etc.).

2. Integrated Marketing Planning

  • Build 360 marketing campaigns (digital, ATL, BTL, retail activation, influencer, PR).
  • Exposure to digital and performance marketing will be preferred
  • Align annual marketing calendar with product launches, seasonality, and trade events.
  • Coordinate with sales and trade marketing to ensure market-level execution.

3. New Product Development (NPD)

  • Lead consumer research and insight mining for product innovation.
  • Collaborate with R&D, packaging, and supply chain on product development and go-to-market.
  • Manage product pricing, packaging design, and value proposition development.

4. Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Lead performance-driven digital campaigns (Google, Meta, Amazon, D2C).
  • Oversee content marketing, social media strategy, and SEO/SEM.
  • Partner with e-commerce for visibility, media spends, and shopper engagement.

5. Consumer Insights & Market Research

  • Commission and interpret research (U&A, concept tests, brand tracks).
  • Identify consumer behavior shifts and trendspotting to guide brand direction.
  • Create consumer personas and journeys for targeted messaging.

6. Media, PR & Communication

  • Manage media buying through agency partners (TV, print, radio, OOH).
  • Oversee PR, influencer partnerships, and content collaborations.
  • Ensure brand communication is consistent across all consumer touchpoints.

7. Team Leadership & Budget Management

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team.
  • Define KPIs for marketing functions and review performance regularly.
  • Own the annual marketing budget and ensure effective ROI on spends.
