As the Head of BC Operations at a scheduled commercial bank, your primary role is to lead and manage the end-to-end Business Correspondent (BC) operations. Your responsibilities include ensuring seamless delivery of banking services through BC partners/agents, driving financial inclusion goals, and maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement BC channel strategy to expand rural/under-banked outreach. - Forecast and allocate budgets, resources, and KPIs for BC operations. - Oversee onboarding, training, and monitoring of BC agents and partner organizations. - Ensure smooth cash management, transaction processing, and service delivery at BC outlets. - Ensure adherence to RBI and bank policies, AML/KYC norms, and information security standards. - Monitor fraud risk, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions. - Liaise with IT teams for CBS/AEPS/UPI integration and system uptime. - Drive process automation, MIS reporting, and performance dashboards. - Set targets, review productivity, and implement incentive programs for BC agents. - Conduct regular field visits and partner reviews. - Work with product, marketing, and compliance teams for new initiatives. - Manage relationships with external BC network partners and regulators.
