Head - Accounts

• Head - Accounts We are seeking an experienced Head - Accounts to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with a focus on accounts receivable, claims, accounts payable, financial reporting, transaction processing management, inventory management, compliance, and financial controlling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounts department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
• Develop and implement effective financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Minimum 18 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with a focus on accounts receivable, claims, accounts payable, financial reporting, transaction processing management, inventory management, compliance, and financial controlling.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and effective communication.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of accountants and financial professionals.
