Head Accountant

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant who has a strong background in handling accounts in the rice industry and government tender processes. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and overall financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage GST filing, returns, and compliance
• Handle TDS, Income Tax filing, and other statutory compliance
• Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports
• Manage accounts related to government tenders and rice supply contracts
• Coordinate with auditors, CA, and tax consultants
• Track receivables/payables and manage cash flow
• Use accounting software like Tally, Excel, and other ERP tools
• Report regularly to management with financial insights

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in rice industry or government contracts
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, IT, and financial reporting
• Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Minimum qualification: B.Com or M.Com (CA inter or equivalent is a plus)
