Hardware & Network Engineer

📍 Job Location: SNS Vidyapeeth, Bankat, Motihari, East Champaran, Bihar – 845401 SNS Vidyapeeth is looking for a multi-talented IT & Network Support Engineer who has comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, networking, CCTV installation, router configuration, and general IT systems. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day IT operations, ensure all systems are functioning efficiently, and provide support to staff whenever needed. This is a combined role requiring capabilities of an IT Network Engineer + Hardware & Support Engineer, suitable for educational institutions where an all-rounder is essential. Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for managing the overall IT infrastructure of the institution, including the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and projectors. They must handle hardware-related tasks such as system assembly, formatting, and replacement of components like RAM, HDD, and SMPS. Networking responsibilities include setting up and maintaining LAN/Wi-Fi networks, configuring routers, switches, IP addressing, and resolving connectivity issues. The role also involves installing and maintaining CCTV surveillance systems (DVR/NVR), ensuring continuous monitoring and recording functionality. Additionally, the candidate will manage operating system installations (Windows/Linux), software setup, antivirus deployment, basic data backups, and provide daily technical support to staff. Maintaining IT asset records, documentation, and ensuring smooth, secure IT operations across the campus will also be part of the role. Required Skills: Hardware and software troubleshooting. LAN/Wi-Fi setup, router and switch configuration. IP addressing, DHCP, basic networking diagnostics. CCTV camera & DVR/NVR setup and troubleshooting. OS installation (Windows/Linux) and formatting. Good communication and time-management skills.
