Hardware Engineer

Desire Engineer Role and Responsibilities

1. The candidate will be responsible for electronic architecture and system design, schematic

design, hardware POC development, BOM creation, component selection, testing, vendor

and inventory management and product integration.

2. Work with cross-functional teams like firmware engineer, mechanical engineer and product

designer to complete the systems design, subsystem design and system verification and

validation.

3. The role will require applying design expertise to develop IEC compliant designs.

4. Designing test plan for the hardware testing and documentation.

Desired Engineer Profile

1. Experience in hardware design and development in industrial and automotive product.

2. Experience in hardware design and development of 32bit MCU and its peripherals for

embedded system.

3. Strong knowledge on Analog circuit, digital circuit and mixed circuit is a must

4. Experience in power circuit designing is added advantage.

5. Experience in CAN and Ethernet circuit implementation is a must.

6. Strong design and hardware troubleshooting skills, including debugging, performance

analysis, and test design.

7. Experience in EMC/EMI circuit implementation.

8. Strong knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances UL /IEC

/RoHS / REACH etc.

9. Hands on experience - design adhere to applicable EMC-EMI guidelines (IEC61XXXX, ) and

UL/EN/FCC

10. Experience in multi-layer pcb designing for high speed board, mixed signal board and

power board.

11. Experience in Altium Designer for schematic building, Library creation and pcb designing

along with strong knowledge of PCB layout guidelines and industrial/automation

standards used for pcb designing.

12. Knowledge in Signal Integrity.

13. Should have experience in any circuit simulation tools like Pspice, LTspice or equivalent.

14. Perform component selection keeping in consideration of optimized cost / EOL and

applicable compliance for NPDs.

15. Experience in functional safety development in the hardware.

16. Hardware design document, BOM, create test reports is must.

17. Need to have experience in soldering leaded and smd components.
