Hardware Engineer

Role & responsibilities

In-depth knowledge of computer hardware fundamentals

Assemble & configure computer hardware systems (Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Peripherals)

Hands-on experience supporting hardware in Windows, Linux, and macOS environments

Perform hardware installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting across enterprise environments.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to motherboards, processors, memory, storage devices, and power supplies

Ensure compatibility and performance optimization between hardware and operating systems

Basic network support (LAN, WAN, topologies)

Networking concepts (OSI & TCP/IP)

Types of network devices: routers, switches, hubs, NICs

IP addressing and basic configuration

Cable types and connectors

Setting up a basic network

Basic network security principles

LAN setup and basic network maintenance

Basic Server Installation & troubleshooting

Maintain documentation of hardware configurations, upgrades, and repairs

Provide support for basic software installation.
Ms Office, office365, installation and basic software installation and activation.

Mail configuration and backup (Outlook, Live mail, etc.)
