Job Description

Education: BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) Experience: 3+ years in embedded hardware design (schematics & PCB layout) Tools: Proficient in Altium Designer, KiCad or OrCad Lead end-to-end hardware development by architecting system-level designs, capturing schematics, and executing multi-layer PCB layouts with signal integrity, impedance control, and DFM/DFT considerations
Specify components and interfaces, selecting microcontrollers, SoMs, sensors, power-management ICs, and communication modules including LoRa, BLE, Wi-Fi, and cellular
Perform signal and thermal analysis via SI/PI simulations, implement EMI mitigation strategies, and manage thermal performance in collaboration with mechanical teams
Oversee prototype bring-up and validation, debugging with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, and driving comprehensive hardware-software integration testing
Ensure regulatory compliance by validating designs against CE, FCC, and IEC standards and supporting EMC/EMI test campaigns
Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, QA, and product teams to refine requirements, mentor junior engineers, and engage with vendors
This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Hardware Design Engineer at RapidCircuitry
The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for advanced hardware development, firmware engineering, IoT and connected systems, ultra-rapid prototyping, production support, and certification assistance
