Hardware Design Engineer

As a Hardware Design Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing analogue and digital hardware circuits for our industrial control products. You should have a strong foundation in electronics, a problem-solving mindset, and experience in designing microcontroller-based systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop analogue/digital electronic circuits and schematics for industrial control applications. - Develop hardware using STM32, ESP32, and similar microcontroller platforms. - Interface sensors, displays, and I/O devices using I2C, SPI, UART, and other communication protocols. - Create PCB layouts and collaborate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors. - Test, debug, and validate prototypes for functional and environmental compliance. - Support firmware engineers in hardware-software integration and system testing. - Document hardware design specifications, bill of materials (BOMs), and revision histories. - Ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturability of the hardware designs. - Stay updated with emerging technologies in embedded and IoT hardware. Qualifications: - B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field. Experience: - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in embedded hardware design and development. - Strong hands-on knowledge of circuit design, sensor interfaces, and microcontroller-based systems. - Experience with STM32 / ESP32 platforms is mandatory. Skills Required: - Strong understanding of circuit design and electronic components. - Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools. - Hands-on experience with STM32 / ESP32-based hardware. - Working knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, and other standard protocols. - Experience interfacing displays (TFT/LCD), analogue/digital sensors, and I/O modules. - Familiarity with IoT hardware architecture and communication modules like Wi-Fi, BLE, RS-485, etc. - Competence in using laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
