Job Description

As a Senior Associate Procurement at Carelon Global Solutions, your primary responsibility will be to manage IT hardware Asset Management for Elevance Health. This role will require collaborating with various stakeholders to procure and track desktop hardware assets efficiently. You will serve as the main point of contact for internal and external partners, overseeing procurement processes, maintaining accurate asset logs, and handling escalations to resolve issues. Additionally, you will document meetings, generate insightful data queries, conduct audits, and actively participate in enterprise projects related to hardware acquisition and asset management processes. Your role will also involve leading small projects within asset management and identifying cost-saving opportunities. To excel in this position, you should ideally hold a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a technology-related field. You should have 2-5 years of experience in personal computing, purchasing, finance, or project management, along with strong project management skills. Familiarity with contract and vendor relationship management, as well as cybersecurity practices, will be advantageous. Moreover, possessing certifications such as CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional) or CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager) is preferred. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking skills are essential for this role.
