Job Description

As a Hardware & System Engineer, your role will involve supporting day-to-day IT operations by handling system configuration, software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and user support across Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS environments. You should be hands-on with end-user device management and possess a strong understanding of IT hardware to provide prompt and reliable technical assistance. - **System Setup & Configuration** - Install and configure laptops, desktops, and software following company standards. - Manage system images and ensure proper OS deployment for Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS. - Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance for smooth operation. - **Hardware & Peripheral Management** - Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and CCTV systems. - Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, or AMC activities. - Maintain records of all IT assets, ensuring proper tagging and documentation. - Support setup and maintenance of video conferencing systems and project hardware. - **User Support & Troubleshooting** - Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to employees. - Handle system-related issues, software errors, or connectivity problems efficiently. - Support events, client demos, or hardware setups when required. - **Policy & Security Compliance** - Ensure all systems comply with company IT and security policies. - Manage antivirus, updates, and endpoint protection as per IT security team instructions. - Follow proper processes for software licensing, access control, and data handling. - **Documentation & Coordination** - Maintain documentation of installations, configurations, and issue resolutions. - Collaborate with network and IT security teams for escalations or new deployments. - Suggest improvements in system setup, performance, and user experience. **Required Skills & Experience:** - 2-3 years of hands-on experience in hardware and system administration. - Proficiency in Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS installation and troubleshooting. - Good knowledge of printers, scanners, CCTV, and other peripheral devices. - Basic understanding of LAN/Wi-Fi configuration and IP setup. - Strong problem-solving ability and communication skills. - Willingness to travel when required for client or branch support. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Diploma or certification in Hardware & Networking (Jetking / CompTIA A+ / N+). - Prior experience in a corporate IT support environment preferred. - Male candidates preferred due to field and travel requirements. This is a full-time position with the work location being in person.,
