About Us:

We are a leading steel manufacturing company specializing in melting, forging, and wheel production. We are seeking an experienced Hardness Machine Operator to join our Quality Control team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate hardness testing machines (Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, Knoop)

- Prepare test samples and position them in the machine

- Read and interpret hardness test results accurately

- Adjust machine settings based on testing requirements

- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment for optimal performance

- Record and report test data for quality control and compliance

- Follow safety procedures and adhere to industry regulations

- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of hardness testing machines

- Develop and implement testing procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency

- Collaborate with quality engineers to resolve testing issues and enhance processes

Requirements:

- 2-5 years of experience in hardness testing and quality control (steel industry preferred)

- Strong knowledge of steel properties and hardness testing methods

- Experience in machine maintenance and calibration

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and teamwork abilities
