Hair Trainer

Job Role: Hair Trainer Location: Pune Region, Maharashtra

The Hair Trainer is responsible for training and developing hair stylists and other salon staff in cutting, coloring, styling, and other hair treatments. This role involves creating training programs, demonstrating techniques, and ensuring that all staff members adhere to industry standards and the salon's quality expectations.

The Hair Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring that salon staff are well-trained & capable of delivering high-quality services to clients. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, teaching ability and a commitment to maintaining high standards in hair care & styling.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

• Develop comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff.
• Create training materials, manuals, and hands-on workshops.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in hair care and styling.

Conducting Training Sessions:

• Lead training sessions on hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
• Demonstrate techniques and provide hands-on training.
• Assess trainees skills and provide constructive feedback.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all staff follow salon protocols and industry standards.
• Monitor the quality of services provided by the staff.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to maintain high service standards.

Performance Evaluation:

• Evaluate the performance of hair stylists and other salon staff.
• Identify skill gaps and develop personalized training plans to address them.
• Conduct regular assessments to track progress and skill development.

Product Knowledge:

• Train staff on the use of hair care products and tools.
• Educate staff about the benefits and proper application of various products.
• Stay informed about new products and technologies in the hair care industry.

Customer Service Training:

• Teach staff how to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Train on effective communication and consultation skills.
• Address and resolve any customer service issues related to hair treatments.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably Graduate or 12th standard with Diploma holders may apply
• Must have completed a Formal course in Hairdressing from a reputed institute
• Adept at performing all services in Hair Cut / Colour/ Texture/ Styling / Up styling / Care Treatments for Women & specially with skills for Gents Cuts , Beard styling & shaving will be preferred
• On floor experience of at least 3-4 years with the ability to execute all services
• Minimum 6-8 years experience with training being a major part of this experience
• Proven track record in training
• Role demands travelling within Zone and to other cities whenever required by the team
• Plan , Create & execute related projects specific for the category when required for Competitions/shoots
• Trainers may have fixed responsibilities in Internal or External Training or may have a blend of both depending on organizational needs.
