Guidewire InsuranceNow QA Responsibilities

• Understand the excess and surplus LOB functionalities

• Excellent knowledge and working experience on Requirement Analysis,

Test Planning, Estimation,

Test Script and Scenario preparation, Test Execution, Test Results Analyses, Defect Reporting, Tracking, Status Reporting, Issue Resolution, Onsite-Offshore coordination and Mentoring team • Responsible for preparing High Level Design document and Detailed Design Document for Integration requirements • Coordination with Offshore, business team and development team • Can quickly adapt to the new technologies and always have a thirst for challenging work • Proven ability to work efficiently in independent and teamwork environments, good interpersonal relations, strong communication skills, hardworking, high level of motivation and a quick learner with ability for taking responsibilities • Strong work experience on P&C Insurance • Have excellent knowledge in complete Policy life cycle, Billing life cycle and claim lifecycle • Expert in using defect tracking tools like Quality Center, MTM, TFS and Jira • Understand how InsuranceNow interfaces integrate and exchange data with other systems Mandatory Skills • 5+ years of overall IT experience including 2+ years of Guidewire experience especially on InsuranceNow • Efficient in test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking to enhance communication and reduce delays. • Knowledge on Excess and Surplus LOB preferred • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, with involvement in all SDLC phases. • Experienced in testing Guidewire products: InsuranceNow, and insurance suite - PolicyCenter (GWPC), BillingCenter (GWBC) and ClaimCenter (GWCC) • Expertise in P&C insurance (Personal Auto, Homeowners, Commercial Auto, Property & Liability LOB), Excess and surplus LOB • Experience in UI, Workflows, Rating and Forms validation. • GW QA certification is preferred • Experience in defining Test Scenarios and writing Test Cases, Test Plans, Traceability Matrix based on business, functional and technical requirements • Extensive experience in running various kinds of tests such as Integration, System, Regression, User Acceptance Test (UAT) and Sanity • Guidewire Cloud implementation experience
