Job Description

As a Quality Assurance professional in the insurance industry, your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with clients, app managers, and business users to lead testing efforts using agile methodology. - Collaborating with Business Analysts and Developers to validate requirements and define acceptance criteria. - Promoting teamwork in a multi-vendor environment developing complex enterprise applications. - Performing manual, data-driven, and integration testing as required. - Validating and testing integration points between internal applications and external services. - Documenting test strategy and plans. - Designing and executing automated and manual test cases. - Managing Defect Triage sessions and reporting on the status. - Documenting defects and overseeing their resolution. - Providing support during implementations, warranty periods, and production support. - Mentoring and managing the Quality Assurance team. - Experience in reporting and managing test status and Quality metrics for large scale Programs. Requirements for this role include: - Experience in testing Guidewire PC, BC, and Digital products. - Proficiency in Automation Testing. - Domain knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance products in Personal and Commercial lines. - Good understanding of Agile methodologies. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Experience with testing integrations, databases, and forms. - Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Ruby.
