Job Description

Job Summary: As a Guidewire Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and maintaining GOSU language application code within Guidewire Policy Center. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems and maintaining high-performance applications. Roles & Responsibilities: Hands-on experience in at least one Guidewire product (Claim/Policy/Billing). Design and modify existing workflows (required for Billing Integration). Configure operational and administration parameters such as roles, permissions, user attributes, and activity patterns. Plan, design, develop, test, debug, and maintain Guidewire applications. Develop GUnit/JUnit tests for testing business logic. Perform minor and major Guidewire software upgrades. Resolve issues identified during testing of configuration requirements. Handle responsibility for organizing code merges and environment management tasks. Assist in GOSU code reviews, code cleanups, and sprint demos. Professional & Technical Skills: Must-Have Skills: Strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development. Knowledge of P&C Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Billing applications). Good knowledge in Web Services, XML, GxModel, Messaging, and Batch implementation. Experience in integrating with third-party systems and document composition tools (Xpressions, Thunderhead). Proficiency in SQL with experience in Oracle/SQL Server databases. Hands-on experience in Admin data loading. Experience in SCRUM Agile methodologies , preferably with Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. Good written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Designing, developing, and deploying software with object-oriented programming concepts using design standards and best practices. Configuring screen layouts and creating new screens (PCFs). Architecting and creating solution designs and effectively presenting solution architecture with various options and estimates. Managing projects, programs, and teams of various sizes. Automating data quality checks and validations for maintaining high data integrity. Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4 to 7 years of experience in Guidewire development and implementation . Experience in leading development projects and collaborating with multiple teams . Perks and benefits Competitive salary based on experience and skill level.
