Role & responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and end-users, to gather and document detailed business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications. Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas of improvement. Develop process maps, flowcharts, and models to document current and future state processes. Work with the technical team to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Participate in solution design discussions, ensuring that the proposed solutions align with business goals and objectives. Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), and use case scenarios. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile artifacts if working within an Agile framework. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear and continuous communication. Organize and lead meetings, presentations, and demos to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and gather feedback. Assist in developing test plans and test cases to ensure that the final product meets the business requirements. Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and work with the QA team to resolve any issues identified during testing. Preferred candidate profile Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA can be an added advantage. Certifications Optional but can be an added advantage. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) Experience: 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the IT industry. Experience in working on software development projects, with a solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or other modeling and documentation tools. Familiarity with databases, SQL, and basic understanding of software architecture is a plus. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Perks and benefits Competitive salary based on experience and skill level.
