As a member of the team at Novotel, your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Respond promptly to customer queries and issues to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction. - Address guest complaints, requests, or inquiries related to food and services in a timely manner. - Maintain effective coordination with all departments of Novotel to enhance cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service. In terms of financial management, you will be expected to: - Identify cost-effective resource utilization and educate the team on best practices. Your operational responsibilities will include: - Setting up operating equipment and inspecting linen and condiments before service. - Familiarizing yourself with all dishes on the menu. - Clearing soiled chinaware, glassware, and silverware from guest tables and resetting them for the next guests. - Taking guest orders and providing information on special menu options in the absence of the Food & Beverage Team Leader. - Reporting equipment malfunctions, emergencies, or suspicious persons to the appropriate personnel. In terms of hygiene, personal safety, and environmental practices, you must: - Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the workplace and storage areas while adhering to HACCP regulations. - Follow safety guidelines for equipment usage and hotel security protocols. - Adhere to the hotel's environmental commitments, including energy conservation and waste management. Key Contacts: - Liaise with the Food & Beverage Department, trainees, and Occupational Health & Safety personnel. - Responsible for ensuring all employees prioritize health and safety in the workplace.
