Guest Service Associate - F&B

As a member of the team at Marriott International, your role involves completing closing duties to ensure the smooth operation of the work areas. This includes storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking items, and maintaining cleanliness according to the daily cleaning checklist. You will be responsible for setting up, stocking, and inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silverware before use. Throughout the day, it is essential to maintain the cleanliness of work areas by following clean-as-you-go procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures - Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the manager - Complete safety training and certifications - Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance - Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards - Communicate clearly and professionally with others - Develop positive working relationships and support team goals - Adhere to quality expectations and standards - Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds - Demonstrate fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination - Navigate various surfaces and stairs safely - Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: No related work experience required - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience necessary - License or Certification: None required At Marriott International, diversity and inclusion are core values.
