The Primo is an exciting new hospitality venue set to open in Ahmedabad, featuring a banquet space and three unique, chef-led restaurants with cuisines ranging from Asian Peruvian and North African Levantine to Progressive Indian.

The Role: Host / Hostess

As we prepare to open our doors, we are looking for confident, guest-focused professionals to join our front-of-house team as Hosts/Hostesses.

As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests - responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations and waitlists, and helping ensure a smooth dining experience. This role is ideal for someone who is warm, well-spoken, and passionate about hospitality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally as they arrive
• Manage reservation systems and seating arrangements
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate estimated wait times
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating
• Answer guest inquiries regarding the restaurant and menu
• Monitor dining room flow and communicate guest needs to managers
• Support a smooth and elegant front-of-house experience

Who We’re Looking For

• Well-presented, personable, and fluent in English and Hindi
• Strong communication and people skills
• Confident handling high guest volumes with calm and professionalism
• Prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings 
• Flexible with work hours, including evenings and weekends
• Team-oriented, organized, and focused on guest satisfaction
