Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).
Reconcile input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B and resolve mismatches.
Handle GST registration, amendments, refunds, and cancellations.
Liaise with GST authorities and manage notices, assessments, audits, and appeals.
Monitor changes in GST law, rules, and regulations and ensure compliance.
Provide advisory support to business units on GST implications for transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GST reports and MIS for management review.
Assist in tax planning and optimization within the framework of GST law
Coordinate with statutory auditors and consultants for GST-related matters.
Train and guide the accounts team on GST updates and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: B.com / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with strong knowledge of GST laws.
Total work Experience: 5-9 years of relevant experience in GST compliance and advisory.
In-depth knowledge of GST provisions, rules, and regulations.
Hands-on experience in GST return filing software (SAP/Tally/ERP systems).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to handle GST audits, assessments, and litigation.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
