Job Description

Position Title: GST Registration Executive Key Responsibilities: • GST Registration and GST Filing: Support the preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and deadlines. • GST Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling GST returns with the books of accounts and vendor/customer statements to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate filings. • MSME Compliance: Assist MSME clients with compliance requirements, including registration under the MSME Act, filing, and maintaining records related to MSME status. • Audit Assistance: Support auditors during the audit process by preparing necessary documentation, organizing financial records, and assisting with audits of tax filings and financial statements. • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings, including GST returns, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and other relevant tax forms. • Document Preparation: Prepare tax-related documents for clients, including GST returns, notices, and correspondences with tax authorities. • Tax Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize records of client tax returns, GST filings, MSME registrations, and audit documents for future reference and compliance checks. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in GST registration, GST filing, and MSME compliance should be familiarity with GST laws, tax filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), and MSME regulations. • Hands-on experience with accounting or tax software (e.g., Tally). • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Google sheets. • Knowledge of audit processes and tax compliance requirements and Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data. • Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and effectively. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with clients in the MSME sector and Knowledge of other tax compliance areas (TDS, Income Tax) is beneficial. • Certification in GST or Taxation is a plus (e.g., GST Practitioner, CA Inter, etc.).
