Description
As a Supervisor at Pinkerton assigned to one of the largest global clients, your role involves leading the day-to-day activities of assigned shifts in the client's alarm monitoring center. Your responsibilities include: - Providing line-level supervision for up to ten Operators, ensuring all positions are staffed with qualified personnel, and conducting operations in line with established policies and procedures. - Representing Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. - Receiving shift pass down information, conducting shift briefings, providing updates, assignments, training, and ensuring uniform compliance. - Maintaining situational awareness of events that may compromise safety and security globally. - Drafting and sending emergency mass notifications and crisis communications. - Ensuring field personnel respond to all emergencies promptly. - Assisting in developing and revising security operation center processes, protocols, and systems. - Identifying and resolving security alarms efficiently. - Providing support, backup, and on-call functions as necessary. - Overseeing quality control for all production, support, and staffing functions. - Assisting in developing capabilities and supporting operations and intelligence/analytics areas. - Supervising the maintenance and deployment of a knowledge management dashboard. - Collaborating with the Operations Manager to identify process and quality improvements. - Representing the team in meetings with client personnel. - Managing incidents of workplace violence or associate misconduct effectively. - Developing and executing training for operators in control room functions and conducting training exercises with the field leadership team. - Performing any other duties as assigned. Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduation with a minimum of five years of security experience, including supervision in a command center or dispatch capacity. - Working knowledge of security systems such as access control, CCTV systems, badging systems, and alarm monitoring systems. - Effective instructional, written, and verbal communication skills. - Research and data analysis abilities. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful work environment. - Comfort with a high-tech work environment and willingness to learn new tools and innovations. - Self-motivation, curiosity, and knowledge of news and current events. - Dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. - Proficiency in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite and Windows OS. Working Conditions: - Requires physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions. - Regular computer usage. - Occasional reaching, lifting of small objects, and operation of office equipment. - Flexibility to work all shifts and assist with overtime when needed. - Frequent sitting, standing, and walking. - Travel may be required.,
