GSOC Supervisor

Location: Hyderabad, India

Overview

The GSOC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the shift operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), ensuring seamless execution of security protocols and activities. This role involves supervising a team of GSOC Specialist, providing coaching and development, and ensuring the successful delivery of daily operational

outcomes. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in monitoring real-time security operations and managing critical incidents effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the shift operations of the GSOC, ensuring all security activities are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Coach and mentor GSOC Operators, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards.
  • Oversee radio communications, calls for service, and the timely resolution of service requests.
  • Partner with site leadership and employees to address operational issues and prepare for potential security incidents.
  • Monitor compliance with established security protocols and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assist in incident response and management, ensuring swift resolution and proper documentation of all events.
  • Support the implementation of global security policies and procedures.
  • Assist in generating reports and metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

Education

Certifications in security operations or incident management (e.g., ASIS APP, CPP, or equivalent) are advantageous.

Experience

4+ years of experience in a GSOC or similar security operations role.

Familiarity with global security protocols and crisis management practices.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and respond to security incidents effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to document and report incidents clearly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate in a technically oriented environment with all levels of individuals in the organization.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions and regions.

Additional Information:

  • Must be flexible to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of Indian security regulations and practices is a plus.
