Job Description

Role Overview: As the Engineering and Development Manager at the company, your primary responsibility will be to create an inclusive and encouraging environment for employees. You will develop and implement strategies to enhance talent development and align the vision of the global product group. Additionally, you will be responsible for attracting, developing, appraising, and retaining qualified staff. Your role will also involve motivating, empowering, and developing the team, as well as actively participating in resource planning processes. Key Responsibilities: - Build an inclusive and encouraging environment for employees - Develop and implement talent development strategies - Identify and implement plans for technical competency development - Attract, develop, appraise, and retain skilled staff - Actively participate in group level resource planning - Steer the Engineering and development team to ensure project/product delivery - Collaborate with leaders across different engineering groups - Develop and manage budgets for operations and infrastructure - Ensure projects/programs are well defined, prioritized, tracked, and communicated effectively - Interact with other product groups to identify alignments and standard methodologies - Perform any other assigned responsibilities within your skills and abilities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree; MBA and business studies preferred - Minimum 10 years of industry and leadership experience in Engineering, Research & Development, or Product Management - Ability to work in a matrix environment within a global organization - Proven Change Leadership skills - Strong communication and presentation skills - Flexibility to accommodate global time differences - Experience in leading and mentoring engineering resources Additional Company Details: The company prioritizes a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
