Roles &Responsibilities

• Release of Detailed Engineering drawing and Bill ofMaterial for Air Pollution Control equipments such as Bagfilters, ESPs, RABH,Scrubbers, Etc. leading the team of Engineers/Draftmens.
• Design of aboveequipments as per IS,BS,ASME Codes based on requirements.
• Preparation of P &I diagrams and General Arrangement drawings.
• Responsible forEngineering of Bought out components and preparation of Bill of Materials andTechnical offer evaluation.
• Lead the planning& implementation of engineering releases in line with Project requirements.
• Resources planning andallocation.
• Track projectdeliverables using appropriate tools & provide guidance and support to theEngg team
• Support Team membersin Problem Solving
• Ensure right firsttime of engineering releases.
• Planning andimplementation of improvement projects such as Opex, Ever lean, Design Cycletime reduction, Product & Component development etc.
• Co-ordination withVendors, customer, consultants.
• Need base support toPre-sales engg, site, QAC, Projects, Materials depts..
  

Criticalcompetencies

• Good AcademicsBackground.
• Domain knowledge about Thermal & Mechanical Design of AirPollution Control equipment , Material Handling Equipment's, ProcessEquipment's, Heat Exchangers, Boliers, Etc.
• Knowledge of Indiana andInternational Standards such as IS, BS, ASME Codes, etc.
• Knowledge of Engg Depts procedures and processes.
• Knowledge of qualitymanagement and standards
• Communication skillsalong with man-management skills.
• Ability to handle the consultants & customers queries,conflicts and complaints.
• Ability to assess risk & challenges and take proactive plans /actions to mitigate the same.
• Working Knowledge ofERP Systems.
