Job Description

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Group Financial Controller to lead financial operations across diverse verticals in real estate development and hospitality. This pivotal role will oversee consolidated reporting, treasury, taxation, project finance, hotel finance, and statutory complianceensuring financial discipline, optimizing cash flows, and driving strategic growth for the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Control
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings across group entities.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls in line with Ind-AS and Companies Act.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Analysis
  • Develop annual budgets for projects, hotels, and corporate functions.
  • Conduct rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and profitability tracking.
  • Monitor hotel KPIs (ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy, GOP, EBITDA).
  • Cash Flow Management & Treasury
  • Manage liquidity, project finance, construction funding, and loan drawdowns.
  • Oversee banking relationships and optimize interest costs.
  • Real Estate Finance Oversight
  • Monitor construction budgets, contractor billing, and RERA compliance.
  • Review receivables, milestone-linked invoicing, and project-level profitability.
  • Hospitality Finance Oversight
  • Supervise financial operations of hotels, restaurants, banquets, and F&B.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, SOPs, and procurement controls.

Taxation & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, RERA, and local taxes.
  • Oversee audits, certifications, and liaise with tax advisors/regulators.
  • Systems & Process Excellence
  • Drive ERP and financial system implementation across real estate and hospitality.
  • Integrate PMS, POS, CRM, and accounting systems for enhanced visibility.

Leadership:

  • Lead finance teams across projects, hotels, and corporate office.
  • Build capabilities in taxation, MIS, FP&A, treasury, and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • 1220 years of experience in real estate and/or hospitality finance.
  • Strong expertise in taxation, treasury, project finance, and hotel operations.
  • Proven track record in multi-entity, multi-location businesses.
