Job Specification

Support the Group Entity Accounting Manager in the production of the monthly management accounts and the month end close for group entities
Responsible for month end close process in line with wider group which includes the following:
Preparation and posting of monthly journals,
Maintain and update the fixed asset register,
Accounts payable management
Analysis of revenue and determination of revenue accruals,
Balancing intercompany loan accounts,
Analysis of trial balance and general ledger with corrections if required,
Balance sheet reconciliations,
Tax computations and related journal entries.
Preparation of management accounts;
Responsibility for annual financial statements
Prepare information for statutory audits;
Queries from internal departments as well as external parties

Skills desirable

Recently qualified (CA, ACCA or similar)
Minimum of 3 years experience in similar, relevant role(s)
Strong foundation in MS Excel/PowerPoint
Strong understanding of IFRS and regional GAAP differences
Strong self-starter, able to work independently and as part of an integrated team
Clear organization skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely
Workday experience would be an advantage
Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
