Description

We are seeking an experienced Grit Blaster to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in abrasive blasting, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared for coating and painting.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by using abrasive materials to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants.
Operate and maintain grit blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Document work performed and report any issues to supervisors.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in grit blasting or a related field.
Proficient in operating grit blasting equipment and tools.
Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to abrasive blasting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
