Grinding & Polishing Supervisor

Role Overview: As a Grinding and Polishing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the grinding and polishing department. Your main tasks will include supervising and managing the department to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety guidelines are met. You will also be required to monitor machine performance, assign tasks to team members, conduct product inspections, troubleshoot machine issues, and control consumables usage. Additionally, you will need to implement safety protocols, maintain production records, provide training to operators, collaborate with other teams, and ensure adherence to 5S and housekeeping standards. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage daily operations in the grinding and polishing department - Monitor machine performance and assign tasks to optimize workflow - Conduct regular inspections of finished products to verify specifications - Troubleshoot machine, tool, or material issues and liaise with maintenance team - Control consumption of consumables, abrasives, and polishing materials - Implement and enforce safety protocols and maintain detailed production records - Provide training and guidance to operators and collaborate with other teams - Ensure adherence to 5S and housekeeping standards in the work environment Qualifications Required: - Strong technical knowledge of grinding and polishing techniques for hardware products - Experience in supervising teams in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal finishing - Familiarity with grinding and polishing machines, tools, and abrasive materials - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to maintain product quality while managing production efficiency - Understanding of safety standards and quality control procedures - Good communication and leadership skills,
