Junior Graphic Designer

1- Position Overview:

The Junior Graphic Designer will assist the Marketing team in creating visually impactful designs for digital and print materials. This role supports brand management, communication initiatives, business development, and project marketing materials. Working closely with project teams and senior members, the designer will ensure design consistency and alignment with company objectives. The position involves producing digital content, updating the website and social media materials, and maintaining high-quality design standards. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Continuous learning and the use of innovative tools will be key.

2- Qualifications

2.1 Education:

2.1.1 Compulsory:

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field

2.1.2 Preferred:

• Certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, or equivalent.

2.2 Experience:

• 1–2 years of professional or internship experience in graphic design.

2.3 Skills:

2.3.1 Compulsory:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

2.3.2 Preferred:

• Familiarity with other graphic design tools such as Canva, Figma, etc.
• Knowledge of web design principles and tools such as Figma and Sketch
• Familiarity with the use of Ai-enabled tools and software such as ChatGPT and Midjourney to make design process more effective and efficient

3- Reporting Structure

3.1 Direct Reporting:

• Marketing Assistant – Graphic Designer / Senior Marketing Manager

4- Responsibilities:

4.1 Brand Management:

• Create digital business cards and email signatures for new joiners, updating them if any changes occur (e.g., new logo, updated email address),
• Design birthday cards and birthday videos for staff celebrations.
• Assist with designing branded giveaways.
• Managing photography and video initiatives for projects and people (in collaboration with Marketing Assistant), including taking photos and videos for marketing and social media purposes.

4.2 Digital Communication:

• Assisting with social media posts and job ads, providing graphic support when needed.
• Work on (info)graphics when needed.
• Take and edit photos and videos for social media stories and other marketing purposes.
• Assist with website content by contacting team members for testimonials and blog posts and adjusting content based on feedback.
• Ensure all marketing collateral is in line with brand guidelines.

4.3 Corporate Communication:

• Create awards submission documents
• Source information from nominees and relevant team members, including project briefs, studies, concept art, renders, floor plans, layouts, elevations, FF&E, budgets, information on consultants, sustainability, innovations, and photography.
• Create submissions in line with relevant award criteria and ensure that all relevant info is included.

4.4 Internal Communication:

• Create and update presentations for internal communications, reflecting any Company changes.
• Assist with internal campaigns and graphics.

4.5 Business Development Collateral:

• Assist Bidding Department in creating presentations and proposals for commercial and residential projects, and updating templates as needed.
• Update Company profiles and portfolios based on feedback from the Founder and the Head of Client Relations.
• Update presentations, portfolios or other documents when changes happen within the Company.

4.6 Content Database:

• Maintain database for new joiners, collecting and saving relevant details once they join.
• Create profiles and CVs for staff as needed.
• Create presentations for talks and conferences, customising as per requirements.

4.7 Project Marketing Materials:

• Assist project teams with coloring architecture and interior design drawings as needed.
• Create marketing and sales brochures following guidelines provided by the client or suggested by the design team, ensuring all materials reflect the project’s branding and objectives.

4.8 Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all graphic design work meets company quality standards before final submission.
• Conduct a review of design outputs to ensure they are free of errors and align with project and brand requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant teams for feedback and make necessary revisions to maintain the high quality of all deliverables.

4.9 Continual Improvement:

• Actively participate in feedback loops to enhance design processes and output quality.
• Stay updated with design trends, AI tools, and technologies, integrating new techniques that improve efficiency and creativity.
• Contribute to team discussions on best practices and support the implementation of continuous improvements in graphic design activities

5- Department:

Business Support – Marketing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
