Graphic Designer & Video Editor Director

Role & responsibilities

• Creative strategy and leadership:

• Develop and implement visual content strategies for both graphic and video projects.
• Oversee teams of graphic designers, copywriters, and videographers.
• Provide creative direction and guidance for projects, ensuring they align with brand guidelines.

• Project management:

• Manage multiple creative projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to understand their needs.
• Present ideas and concepts to stakeholders.

• Content creation and oversight:

• Review and provide feedback on both graphic designs and video edits.
• Ensure all visual and video content is high-quality and meets brand standards.
• Oversee the creation of various materials, including print collateral, social media graphics, and video content.

• Staying current:

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in both graphic design and video production.
• Implement new techniques and methods to improve efficiency and quality.

• Collaboration and review:

• Collaborate with creative teams, stakeholders, and clients throughout the production process.

• Creative & Artistic Vision

  : The ability to conceptualize original ideas, develop a compelling narrative, and communicate a unified vision to the team.

• Storytelling

  : Understanding how to convey a story or message effectively through the arrangement of visuals, audio, and motion.

• Leadership & Collaboration

  : The ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of designers, editors, cinematographers, and copywriters, while also working effectively with clients and other stakeholders.

• Adobe Premiere Pro

  and

  Final Cut Pro

  (or Avid Media Composer/DaVinci Resolve) for video editing and post-production.

• Adobe After Effects

  for motion graphics, animation, and visual effects (VFX).

• Adobe InDesign

  for layout design (if also working with print media).
