Graphic Designer & Video Editor

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong understanding of various editing techniques and software. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our branding and marketing strategies, ensuring that each project meets the expectations of our clients and audience.

Duties

• Edit raw footage into polished videos that effectively communicate the intended message.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualise and develop video content.
• Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop, to enhance video quality and visual appeal.
• Incorporate branding elements into videos to maintain consistency across all platforms.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Conduct colour correction, audio mixing, and visual effects to elevate the final product.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing and digital design.
• Assist in the creation of promotional materials and presentations as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects), CorelDRAW, and Figma.
• Strong understanding of graphic design principles using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
• Familiarity with web design concepts including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
• Experience in digital design and UI design is advantageous.
• Excellent photography skills to enhance video content with original imagery.
• Strong presentation skills for pitching ideas effectively to team members or clients.
• Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) for managing video uploads and distribution.
