Job Summary

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and preparing artwork for printing, ensuring accuracy in design, color, layout, and print specifications. The role requires close coordination with clients, production, and printing teams to ensure high-quality printed output within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Pre-Press Work

• Create and design artwork for brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, labels, visiting cards, banners, and other print materials
• Prepare print-ready files as per press specifications (bleed, trim, resolution, color mode)
• Modify client-provided artwork to meet printing standards
• Ensure designs comply with brand guidelines and print feasibility

Color & Print Accuracy

• Work in CMYK color mode and ensure color consistency
• Coordinate for color correction and proof approvals
• Check layouts, fonts, images, and alignment before printing
• Ensure proper imposition and basic pre-press checks

Client & Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with clients for design briefs, revisions, and approvals
• Work closely with production and machine operators to avoid print errors
• Handle multiple jobs while meeting tight deadlines

Quality Control

• Review digital and physical proofs before final printing
• Ensure zero-error output to minimize wastage and rework

Software & Tools

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• CorelDRAW (preferred in printing press environment)
• Basic knowledge of RIP software is an advantage

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field

Experience

• 2–5 years experience in a printing press or pre-press environment
• Freshers with strong print knowledge may be considered

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of printing processes and materials
• Knowledge of paper types, finishes, and binding methods
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in offset, digital, and large-format printing
• Knowledge of packaging design and die-line handling

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
