Brown Folk Media LLP is not your regular media company. We’re the misfits with mics, the storytellers with spunk, the design-obsessed weirdos who believe in shaking things up—especially in brown communities. Our campaigns don’t whisper; they shout (with style). Now, we want someone who designs like Hendrix played guitar. That someone might be you. What you’ll be doing (besides drinking too much coffee): 🎯 Creating visuals that make people stop scrolling and feel things 🎬 Bringing chaos to order across digital, print, and motion 🌈 Branding everything from indie podcasts to activist campaigns 🧠 Working closely with thinkers, writers, and people who say “vibes” unironically 🔥 Pitching bold, beautiful, offbeat ideas—and executing them like a pro 💬 Occasionally convincing us Comic Sans is not, in fact, a “mood” Must-haves: • A portfolio that punches above its weight • Adobe CC mastery (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) • Obsession with color, texture, and typography • Fluent in memes, moods, and modern design languages • You speak Figma like it’s your second language • Able to take feedback without throwing your Mac-mini across the room. • Good taste. Better attitude. Best puns (optional, but welcome) Bonus Points If You: 🎥 Know your way around After Effects or motion graphics 📸 Dabble in photography or illustration 👽 Are a little bit weird (we mean that lovingly) Perks?
